Grapevine Vintage Railroad

The Grapevine Vintage Railroad's Steam Locomotive No. 2248, affectionately known as Puffy, is a product of the Cooke Locomotive Works of Paterson, NJ. Built in 1896, #2248 was called a "heavy mountain-class" locomotive as indicated on the original Cooke drawings 817-625-RAIL

Texas State Railroad 

Dating back to the 1881. The purpose of the train was to connect the state prison smelting facilities Passengers may board the historic trains at either Rusk or Palestine. Both ends of the line have Victorian-style train stations. The trip takes 1 and a half hours to reach the opposite station. 800-442-8951
